I work in senior care at ground zero Dec 27th of 2020 and during that entire 5week quarantine that the seniors suffered through none of them had anything that serious other than what looked to be a seasonal flu... if it was really that serious of a pandemic the seniors with multiple health complications who tested positive would have dropped like flies. The initial senior who tested positive only had slight sniffles during the 5week lockdown on my wing. The other odd thing was that this senior was only recently was allowed to see his wife and when Island Health tested her she tested negative, and when Island Health tested me and all my coworkers we all tested negative. Mind you residents were not allowed to see any outsiders since the beginning of March 2020. So how did this virus magically jump to this resident if my staff and his wife were not carriers? How did the novel virus make its way into the building after being tested with a pcr test? It doesnt make any sense.
