Momma bears shouldn't be messed with. A short story: In the early 60's we used to camp for two weeks a year in Yosemite as a family. I was about 12 and was sleeping outside under the stars. About midnight I was awakened by a huge bear attempting to sit on my face to eat the Nestle's Quik it found in our stuff. I let out such a blood-curdling scream that bear bolted like he had been jabbed with a very hot poker where the sun don't shine. Some other campers chased the bear away. Glad that bear hadn't been full of shit or the story would have had a very different ending.
