Many police are not going to enforce the dumb rules anymore. Quit a number in the US and many in Ontario, Canada. There are also some over seas that will not enforce them either. The police the enforce those laws are only hurting themselves. No one will ever trust them again. You can't even tell children to trust them any more. Those days are long gone. So far the Police in my neck of the woods do a whole lot of nothing about all of this garbage. They just do their regular jobs going after drug dealer, murderers, those who assault and batter others, theft, those who drink and drive etc. You know real crimes. I hope it stays that way. Some time ago I had a chat with one of them and was talking about a man who ended up being killed over a not wanting to wear a mask. Had the man who was in his 70's just been left alone he would still be alive. I told the officer there was no excuse for that at all. I said odds are really good the old man was exempt from having to wear a mask as well. I am guessing he was exempt. I also pointed out I cannot wear a mask and if they shoot me over some stupid store owner whining, well it would not be so good for them, to ever live that one down. It was a bit of longer chat then that, but that was short version. I guess maybe it had an impact, as to date they pretty much do a whole lot of nothing, about all of it. I have not heard of anyone being fined or anything else. I must have found just the right officer that still had some common seance left and understood everything I was talking about. Some of them are great people. There has to be a trust factor between people in the community and the Police. Once that is gone, that trust may never exist again. That is a bad thing. It is so sad children cannot be taught to trust the Police ever. That is where it is, in many places however. Children see the old folks been taken down by the Police. Imagine what a child must think when they see that sort of horrid thing going down. That would make them terrified of the Police. Talk about the wrong directions to go. Any cop who does crap like that have a lot to answer for.
