Why am I reminded of George Orwell's comment in a different context: 'people playing with fire who do not know that fire is hot'. The theory on which this is based is nonsense, so I suspect the net result of the 'geo-engineering' might be local and transient. Climate 'science' is essentially idiologically driven, like gender studies. All the conclusions were written first, and 'proved' by cherry picking and fabrication of data. We can be certain that the effectiveness of these processes is vastly over-estimated, because they are based on junk science. Has everybody forgotten Carl Sagan's prediction of a 'nuclear winter' arising from the burning of the oil fields in the first Gulf War? To significantly affect the climate requires cubic miles of matter, such as a Krakatoa eruption.
