To this day it is true, used to stymie a certain proportion of the population. But primarily for profits that dwarfs everything else, that is until fiat currency was designed and fractional banking. Imagine a world that will devoid of criminal anachronistic financial fleecing. It’s all about the steal, wholesale theft of everything that can be stolen. What will world look like without thieves small, medium, large and institutional.
